About the Milky Way Mattress

The Milky Way mattress is hand-built with a new 2025 design, featuring a soft comfort top and firm base support in a low-profile structure. It includes a 2” latex comfort layer made from GOLS-certified 100% natural organic latex (soft) and a 4” firm latex base for superior support. The breathable wool top is crafted from natural New Zealand wool, enhancing temperature regulation in all seasons.

The top cover is an organic cotton knit with extra stretch and durability, and the mattress is wrapped in thick New Zealand wool for added moisture control. We manufacture the North Star 100% Natural Latex Mattress by hand in our Calgary, Alberta plant. The latex is sourced from the Earthfoam mill in Sri Lanka, which partners with certified organic and fair-trade local farmers.
